Aviary
Over 2022/2023, we are very pleased to announce that donations and and funds from West Sussex Wildlife Protection helped us to build our own aviary. This aviary, housed with one of our admins, helps provide crucial space for sick and injured birds that need a bit of time to recover, with the hope that they will be released back to the wild.
Donations help towards food and maintenance costs.

Rescues
All donations go towards rescuing birds. Whether it's chicks that have fallen out of the nest, or birds in need medical aid, we try our best to help. We always prioritise keeping the bird in its environment and only take them in if it is necessary to help them.

Releases
The ideal end to a rescue is releasing the bird at the end! We always aim to release the birds we rescue back to the wild. This is best done either where the bird was originally found or, for gulls, on the shore near other wild gulls.
